SF2 A-4E Skyhawk, VMA-211 "Wake Island Avengers" Skin/Decal Pak 6/17/2014
= For SF2 (Any & All, Full-5 Merged Prefered) =
A new skin for VMA-211; this is inspired by a request by a CombatAce member that used to work for them. Also, it allows us to have a fully updated SF2 version of a skin set originally by Paul "FOTF" Nortness, that now longer works in SF2.
This is for the standard, or garden variety A-4E Skyhawk (no *year" suffix). However, they can be used on the 65, 67 and possibly on the A-4F by renaming the maps to match to lod's naming convention.
All new decals, excepting one left over from the 1stGen skin, were created for this mod. The skin maps themselves are in jpg format.
ALL markings are decals. Decal randomization has been set to "TRUE".
Also included is my modified Loadout ini, that has "increased" striking power for all mission statements. My Data ini is also included, that adds the Landing Light, and opening canopy (Standard Animation Keystroke, Shift/0).
When on the Loadout Screen, in the "Paint Scheme" dropdown, you'll see:

The Stock 3W skin is still available, but is accessed from the Unit Selection dropdown. This one should not conflict with the stock one. At least it didn't for me during testing.
The (FOTF) is a nod to Paul, as part of the inspiration to rebuild this to the lastest spec (and that I reused on of his decals, albeit slightly modified).
As always, fairly easy to follow, detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them ....

= Install Instructions:
As I always reccomend, unzip the "sf2_a4e-vma211_pak.7z" to a temp folder or your desktop or somewhere else that's easy to find.
Then, simply, copy/paste the /Objects folder supplied directly =OVER= your existing /Objects folder, in whichever game's mod folder you're installing it to.
You'll probably be asked "OVERWRITE?", just say yes.

Notes and Other Nonesense:
It should be noted, it is stil based on the original, but only that one decal remains (the nose stripe). All other are BRAND new, and seperate units. The tail squadron code letters/rudder colors is the original 3W decal, renamed. This was just done as a convience to me (and maybe End Users, too!).
As all 3W Skyhawks are mapped identically, it's a simple rename of the skin maps if an End User (tm) wishes to use this skin on the "humped" versions of the A-4E. Or just extract the required skins from the relevant ObjectData.cat, and just reference the decals included.
Please note, the "barber pole" decal on the refueling probe will most likely require repositioning, or at least figuring out the mesh name (if it got changed that is!) for use on the A-4F models (or if it was even used!). I didn't check for that stuff!
