The Bell P-63 was armed with one 37 mm M10 fixed forward-firing cannon in a moteur-canon installation, two 0.5 inch Browning M2 fixed forward-firing machine-guns in the upper side of the forward fuselage firing through the propeller and two 0.5 inch Browning M2 fixed forward-firing machine-guns on under-wing gondolas. Additionally, 1500 lbs of bombs or six 5-inch HVAR rockets could be carried on hard points under the wings.
