Though the aircraft is real, either RC model or an actual aircraft, I agree... the event is not real.
You can see a video on youtube were someone debunks this video.
I hate to say it, but this appears to be an ad campaign by \"KillaThrill.com\". (domain registered in Germany) Showing both their name and logo clearly while NOT showing any other id worthy info. They even have a picture of this very aircraft (with wings firmly attached) on their top page. Among other things, the fact this aircraft is not showing it\'s registration markings anyplace left me wondering. I\'ve been around aerobat\'s for many years and know exactly where to look for the registration numbers (including on international aircraft). They aren\'t there. Though the biggest thing was the aircraft itself... This appears to be an older Extra 300, but it is missing things. All the little things, like aileron balance tabs and the extra window on the belly and such.
Finally, just to really give it the test. I took the peoples accents in this video and figured it would have had to been filmed someplace in North America (either the US or Canada). So as to rule out any possibility of this being real, I took a thorough look through the NTSB and FAA database\'s. Everything that happens to aircraft within North America is logged into either if these databases. They show NO aircraft loosing it\'s wing in flight (or on the ground) in the past several years. Believe me, you just don\'t loose a wing IN FLIGHT and NOT have it reported to either of these agencies. It just doesn\'t happen.
This video has either been CGI edited, a model or combination of both.
