Hellenic Air force F-16C and F-16D variants - Volume I (Blocks 30 & 50)
This package is dedicated to the memory of Captain Konstantinos Iliakis, who fell defending the air-space of Hellas.
We are proud to present the Hellenic Air Force F-16C and F-16D variants - Volume I (Blocks 30 & 50), among the most advanced and enduring American military aircraft designs produced since the late-80s and early 90s respectively. This Volume includes the HAF Block 30 F-16C and F-16D, and the HAF Block 50 F-16C and F-16D with unique external characteristics, cockpits and avionics. It has been our goal to provide to the simmer a highly detailed model and texture base which preserves the beautiful lines of these aircraft; and to engineer flight model files and a cockpit/instruments file-set that add to the immersion of the flying experience within the Strike Fighters 2 series.
All 3D models in this package, though based on the Viper Team models, have been massively re–worked, with most parts re-furbished or replaced with scratch built parts, and most components have been re-mapped to higher resolution “baked” texture files, increasing the fidelity of the excellent originals.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Copy the contents of the "To Mods Folder(s)" to your SF2 Mod directory.
Allow directory merging and overwrites, provided the over-writes pertain to "fake pilot" entries, as well as weapons made by ravenclaw_007, the latest of which are included in this release.
NOTE 1:
For those who may find loading times excessive, the .jpg files in the texture and cockpit folders can be reduced to 50% of their size without sacrificing too much surface detail.

The plane-weapon performance data, the operation of the aircraft's radar, systems and weapons as well as weapon loads are an artistic representation and are for SF2 game purposes only and don't represent the actual aircraft/weapons data and operating procedures.

* Two Super detailed, dedicated F-16C cockpits (courtesy of Ravenclaw_007) with animated throttle control, rudder pedals, control stick, landing gear lever, and canopy. Cockpit shadows have also been enabled, and existing textures have been enhanced via “baked” textures.
* A full complement of highly (or should I say "insanely") detailed weapons; all by ravenclaw_007.
* Comprehensive F-16C Loadouts by Alfa2.
