The USAF Thunderbirds flew the McDonnell Douglas F-4E Phantom II from 1969 to 1973.
Minor changes in the appearance of these aircraft occurred throughout this period.
The summary below indicates what I have attempted to model in this addon.
I apologize for any mistakes I may have made.
I will fix them as soon as they have been identified.
Please address corrections to Stephen L. Flores (streak_eagle@hotmail.com).

The picture you submitted of acft Thunderbird #5 at the 1972 airshow is acft 66-0289.
That acft was the Solo acft # 5 in 1972;
it became the Primary Spare #6 in 1973 when I crewed it.

The acft on display in Athens, TN is 66-0319 #2;
66-0315 #3, is on display in Monnet, Missouri.
66-0329 is on display at Pima Air Museum in Tucson.
66-0377 (#1 in 1973) and 66-0291 are still in AMARC.
66-0302(#1 in 1969-1972) is on display at MacDill AFB, FL.
66-0294 is on display in front of American Legion in Vail, AZ, just south of Tucson.
\"Super-Fine 289\" joined the Team in 1969 as #8 initially with Mike Bilcik crewing.
In 1970 it moved the #7 position, again with Mike Bilcik crewing.
1971 found it moving up a little to the #3 position with Mike Bilcik again crewing in his final year on the Team.
In 1972, 289 became the Solo #5 acft with Dick Dowler crewing.
In 1973, it\'s final year on the Team,
289 moved to the #6 position where I put the final red, white and blue [TLC]into it.
