“white sun, blue sky”
A seventy-one mission campaign for the American Volunteer pilot in China and Burma, 1941 to 1942, requiring at least v4.07. If you do not have “Il2 Sturmovik:1946” or above, you will not be able to use this campaign.
Closely based on actual events, dates, times, and locations, this pilot career features both the Curtiss H81A-2s and the P-40Es of the American Volunteer Group, the famous ‘Flying Tigers’. The player will join the 3rd Pursuit Squadron, the ‘Hell’s Angels’, and will fly over Burma, IndoChina, Thailand, and China, against the numerically superior and veteran Japanese Army Air Force, as well as their Thai allies.
This campaign will add an entirely new campaign branch, with new awards and rank, a unique splash screen, and custom music. Before installing this campaign, please make very certain that your Pilot Career menu does not list a country literally named “None”. It is very likely that you do not have this country as an option. If you do, or suspect you do, please read the attached “wsbsreadme” very carefully for further instructions BEFORE installation of this campaign.
‘White sun, blue sky’ will add an entirely new country to your Pilot Careers menu. To play this campaign, you will select the country named “None” in the Pilot Career option screen. The only campaign for that country will be ‘white sun, blue sky’, and the campaign branch will be set up to represent China, with a Chinese icon and music.
