REMOTEHUD HELP
1. Open your conf.ini file (with notepad) in the folder where IL2 is installed and include
this new lines to activate the devicelink interface
port=21100
host=127.0.0.1
1. Open rhud.exe
2. If you use a firewall, please allow RHud.exe communicate with the game under the port 21100 IP 127.0.0.1
3. Now you can launch IL-2. Use Full screen mode.
3. The program is not integrated as a mod in the game source code, and runs separately as an independent application
overlayed to the game window. You can make it sensible to FOV and VIEWS, but at the moment is disabled.
4. For a good experience you need a good graphic card and a good processor otherwise you can suffer low FPS.
Try both, OpenGL and DirectX looking for the best graphic performance.
5. I removed the code lines limiting the use of the program to HE-162, so now you can use it with all planes.
6. Remember that Devicelink is disabled when playing online.
7. As far as I know it works fine under XP, but I didn磘 tested it well into other windows SO.
Anyway portability of C++ is quite good. By the way.. I cannot give you guarantee of any kind
regarding hardware or software problems as a result of using RemoteHud.
8. Concerning sounds, there is a way to integrate them into the .exe but at the moment you can put all .wav files into
the same forder where RHud.exe is. Otherwise you wilL get a failure sound every time a sound is called by the program.
9. RHud still cannot detect the position of the game window and it is always displayed at the screen center.
Please take it in account if you run IL-2 windowed.
10.Sorry sound warnings are still a mess. Please consider rhud just as a homemade toy.

K -> Changes graphics type: Altitude, Energy, Speed, Gravity
O -> Changes reticle
F12-> Exit
E -> Settings (Disabled)

RemoteHud is a small sample program that shows how third party applications can communicate with IL-2 and import flight parameters with the current condition of the player's aircraft. Communication is performed via UDP Protocol as described in the IL-2 Devicelink service. Please notice that RHud is not completed and for sure needs a strong debugging...
