贴一个FLASH版的 Earth
http://www.flashearth.com/flashearth.swf// What is Flash Earth?Flash Earth is an experimental application for viewing satellite and aerial imagery of the Earth from multiple mapping websites inside a single Flash-based interface. It is not designed to be a fully-fledged mapping application but more for enjoying and exploring images of our planet. And it's all made by me, Paul Neave.
// It doesn't work! Please make sure JavaScript is enabled and the latest Flash Player is installed.I also recommend you use the brilliant Firefox web browser instead of Internet Explorer.
Flash Earth will also perform better if you are using a broadband Internet connection and a reasonably modern, fast computer.
// How do I use Flash Earth? To move the map click and drag with the mouse and pan around, or simply click once to re-centre.You can also click on the compass points to move.
You can zoom by dragging the slider bar, by pressing the plus and minus buttons or by scrolling the mouse wheel. You can rotate the map by turning the compass with click and drag.
You can also use the arrow keys to move around, and the following shortcut keys:
http://www.flashearth.com/assets/images/flashearth_help_keys.png Zoom in – plus key or Z
Zoom out – minus key or A
Rotate clockwise – ›
Rotate counter-clockwise – ‹
Latitude/longitude in decimal/degrees – L
Map source – numbers 1-7
Full screen – F
Search – S
Crosshair – C
Reverse mouse wheel – M
NOTE:Keys will not work in full screen mode due to security restrictions in the Flash Player.
// Why is there no Google Maps imagery?Google asked for their imagery to be removed from Flash Earth because it was seen to be a violation of their Terms of Use for the Google Maps API.I hope one day to use only open source imagery, but for now Microsoft, Yahoo! and Ask.com imagery are still be available.
// Can I hide the menus?Yes, you can either collapse them individually by clicking on the small white arrows, or you can right-click (Mac owners use control-click) and select the option "Hide navigation" from the drop-down menu, which will remove the menus and navigation completely.
// How do I save an image from Flash Earth? If you want to use the imagery provided by Flash Earth in your own documents or as your desktop background, you can do so by taking a screenshot of your computer.
On a PC, you can take a screenshot by pressing the Print Screen key on your keyboard, often abbreviated to the letters Prt Sc or Prnt Scn or similar. On a Mac, you can do the same by using the screen capture shortcut keys.
Once you have taken a screenshot, you can paste the image from your computer's clipboard into a program such as Paint or GIMP or Photoshop and crop and manipulate the image as much as you want.To get a better screenshot, you can hide the menus on Flash Earth by selecting the "Hide navigation" option as mentioned above.
// How old is the imagery? It depends on the source. Most of the imagery has been taken anywhere from one to five years ago.The exception is NASA imagery which is updated every day.
// Can I see live images of my house from space?Unless you are James Bond and have access to spy satellites or you live on the International Space Station you won't be gaining access to imagery like that. The best you can do is view the NASA imagery which is updated once a day (around midday PST, which is 8pm GMT/UT) from the MODIS Terra satellite, although the zoom can only reach city-level.Even so, I still think that's pretty amazing.
// Why no street map imagery?Flash Earth uses Flash Player 7 which can only load JPEG images.Street map imagery uses a different format which does not work in Flash Player 7.If Flash Earth used Flash Player 8 or above, street map imagery would be possible, but this would also create other new problems.(If you really want to know, dynamically loaded images cannot be smoothed due to security restrictions in Flash Player 8).
// Is Greenland really as big as Africa? No, in fact Africa is about 14 times larger than Greenland. It looks this way because the Earth isn't flat but a big round ball, and turning it into a 2D map creates distortions.
// How do I search by latitude and longitude? If you know the coordinates of a location by its latitude and longitude you can enter them into the Search box and be taken to that position. For example, entering 48.856558, 2.350966 (decimal latitude and longitude separated by a comma) or 48 51 23 N, 2 21 3 E (a pair of degrees, minutes and seconds, separated by a comma) will take to you directly to Paris.
// Can I license/use Flash Earth on my website?Flash Earth is not available for commercial or private use.It is only available via this website.
Although Flash Earth is capable of accessing imagery from various mapping websites, that's as far as the implementation goes. There is no way to extend or adapt or add any useful data or marker points to the map — it's really more of a proof of concept than anything else.
Also, Flash Earth has not been formally endorsed by any of the imagery providers as it conflicts with their Terms of Use which states that the imagery should only by accessed via their official API, and not how Flash Earth has done.
If you want to use a Flash-based map on your website then I'd recommend using the excellent Yahoo! Maps Flash API or the Google Maps Flash API or even try Microsoft's Virtual Earth SDK if you're happy to go with a JavaScript map instead.Non-commercial, open source alternatives include worldKit, OpenStreetMap or OpenLayers.
// Can I have the source code for Flash Earth?Sorry, but because Flash Earth uses unofficial (that is, illegal!) techniques to access imagery from mapping websites, I do no want to encourage other people to also do this, and so the source code is not available to download.
